Ingredients

  • 200 g Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup frozen spinach
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Fresh berries optional

Method

  1. Combine the Greek yogurt, protein powder, frozen spinach, unsweetened almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract in a blender.
  2. Blend the mixture on high speed for 30-45 seconds, or until the spinach is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pause the blender and scrape down the sides with a spatula to ensure everything is well mixed.
  4. Add ice cubes to the blender if you want a thicker, colder shake.
  5. Pulse the blender a few times to crush the ice and combine it with the mixture.
  6. Add a handful of fresh berries to the blender and blend for another 10-15 seconds, or until they're fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  7. Pour the shake into a glass and serve immediately.
  8. Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours, or freeze for up to 3 months.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey. For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and protein powder.
